On our stand we will show examples of how design students take responsibility in many different ways. Responsibility for the environment through inventing new products from used office interior and furniture from Bærum Municipality. Social responsibility through using their design skills in collaboration with criminal care. You will also get to see a new and innovative product “Doris” that is designed to stop microplastic pollution from domestic washing machines. Other student projects demonstrate a playful mix of old and new production techniques like 3D printing using local Norwegian blue clay to handcraft traditions like kipebinding.
